Particularly informative were the presentation by Günther H. Oettinger (Former Member and Vice-President of the European Commission; former Minister President of the State of Baden-Württemberg), in which he presented his view of the energy transition and called on politicians to take urgent action. ), in which he presented his views on the energy transition and called on politicians to take urgent action; the presentation by Kerstin Andreae (Chairwoman of the Executive Board, BDEW), in which she explained the views of the lobby association, which demands clear framework conditions for its members; and the presentation by Dr Georg Stamatelopoulos (CEO, EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG) on ‘The future of energy: challenges and success factors for a sustainable transformation’.
Joachim Schöffer (Managing Partner, 4cost) and Arnd Schüller (Sales Employee, 4cost) were on site to make contacts and present the costing solutions from 4cost. Mr Schöffer also presented the 4cost costing software on the big stage as part of an innovation pitch.
‘During the conference, we were able to welcome around 50 visitors to our stand and show them the benefits of our solutions. The top topics of our dialogue partners were benchmarks, target costs and sustainability. We cover all of these,’ summarises Mr Schöffer. ‘We were able to make some high-quality contacts at C-level with Siemens, EnBw, Hitchai and Deutsche Bahn, among others.’
During the conference, Dr Hajo Drees (CEO, Berlin Institute Supply Chain Management) presented his latest publication ‘Successful CPOs’. In the book, 66 managers, including Mr Schöffer, report on their success strategies.
