The new version 4.5 of the 4cost-suite is now available for download in the client portal and offers numerous performance optimisations and improvements as well as several new features that make working with our costing software even more comfortable.

On 16 and 17 October 2024, the third Sustainability Congress of the Berlin Institute Supply Chain Management took place at the Umweltforum Berlin. As a partner and sponsor of the event, 4cost presented its latest software solution for calculating the product carbon footprint regarding materials, production, packaging, transport and disposal.

The 25th Procurement Conference took place on 23 and 24 September 2024 at the Hotel de Rome in Berlin. The annual event provides a platform for the exchange of information, experiences and best practices in the areas of public procurement law, process optimisation in purchasing and logistics as well as digital procurement/e-procurement for public administration. 4cost participated as an exhibitor for the first time to present the latest costing solutions in the areas of lifecycle costing (LCC) and sustainability (carbon footprint calculation).

This year’s 4cost Client Roundtable North took place in Hanover on 19 September 2024. Once again, corporate clients from various industries were invited to exchange insights on their daily work with the 4cost costing software and discuss solutions to address current challenges.

The AGRITECH Supplier Summit took place in Augsburg on 11 and 12 September 2024. For the fifth time, the Berlin Institute Supply Chain Management invited leading industry representatives, innovators and experts from the agricultural machinery industry to discuss current developments and issues. The two-day programme offered an interesting mix of inspiring keynotes, interactive workshops and panel discussions. The focus was primarily on technical innovations and digital solutions.

On 27 June 2024, the third 4cost Client Roundtable took place in Ulm. 18 participants from various industries seized the opportunity to discuss current challenges, new insights and best practices in cost management across companies.

Entitled “Revolutionising supply chains in the rail industry”, the RAILWAY Supplier Summit took place on 16 and 17 May 2024 at the Mercure Hotel MOA in Berlin. Manufacturers, suppliers, operators, buyers and consultants from the rail industry discussed sustainability and high-tech innovations for a greener future in rail transport. As a sponsor of the summit, 4cost was on hand to explain the benefits of professional costing software to high-level industry representatives.

On 28 November 2023, 4cost clients and partners came together in an informal setting at the second regulars’ table in Hanover to share their practical experience of using the 4cost costing software.

On 7 and 8 November 2023, the second AIRCRAFT Supplier Summit of the Berlin Institute Supply Chain Management took place at the Globana Event Campus in Leipzig. 4cost was once again a sponsor and exhibitor at the summit to present its costing solutions for the aerospace industry.

On 18 and 19 October 2023, 220 industry, academic and political leaders gathered in Berlin at the 2nd Sustainability Congress of the Berlin Institute Supply Chain Management to discuss the latest developments and challenges in the field of sustainability.

As part of its local social commitment, 4cost GmbH has provided the Beelitz sports club SV 71 Busendorf with a new set of football shirts.

On 13 and 14 September, the AGRITECH Supplier Summit took place in Augsburg for the fourth time. On site, renowned companies from the agricultural industry presented solutions, innovations and ideas for the digital transformation of agriculture. With over 310 participants, 55 speakers and 41 exhibitors, this year’s event was the largest to date for the organiser and host, the Berlin Institute Supply Chain Management in cooperation with AGCO.

On 13.07.2023 Joachim Schöffer, managing partner of 4cost GmbH, hosted the first 4cost regulars’ table for clients and partners in Ulm. A new platform for clients and partners to network in a sociable atmosphere and to exchange personal experiences in working with the 4cost costing software.

On 16 and 17 May 2023, the RAILWAY Supplier Summit premiered in Düsseldorf. Notable representatives of leading railway companies and suppliers shared their insights on current challenges, solutions, and trends in the industry. 4cost joined the event as a sponsor and exhibitor to showcase its software and service solutions for transparent cost management.

On 9 May 2023, the event “In Dialogue with Military Attachés” took place for the 13th time at Schloss Diedersdorf near Berlin. After the successful participation in 2022, 4cost was present again as an exhibitor to introduce military representatives from all over the world to the industry-specific advantages of the 4cost costing software.

The success story of 4cost is characterised by innovative spirit, ambition and entrepreneurship. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary, the three company founders take a look back at the beginnings of 4cost and its establishment as a developer of a globally unique costing standard. They also report on their goals for the coming years.
