From 30 November to 1 December 2022, 4cost was present as an exhibitor and speaker at the 22nd Machining Innovations Conference for Aerospace Industry 2022. On site at the Produktionstechnisches Zentrum Hannover, international experts and scientists from the aerospace industry exchanged ideas on current topics in manufacturing.

On 15 and 16 November, the AIRCRAFT Supplier Summit celebrated its premiere in Leipzig. As a sponsor of the event 4cost was on site and exchanged ideas with representatives of well-known companies from the aerospace industry.

On 20 and 21 October, the Berlin Institute Supply Chain Management hosted the first Sustainability Congress at the Telekom Capital Presence, Berlin. Joachim Schöffer, Managing Director of 4cost GmbH, and Head of Sales Arnd Schüller were present to engage in an exchange with representatives from business and politics.

On 22 and 23 September, the Berlin Institute Supply Chain Management together with AGCO invited to the third AGRITECH Supplier Summit in Augsburg. 4cost GmbH was once again present as an exhibitor and cost expert.

On 21 June, the information event “In Dialogue with Military Attachés” took place in Schloss Diedersdorf near Berlin. At the beginning of the Digital Week Ostwuerttemberg, Joachim Schöffer, Managing Partner of 4cost GmbH, lectured about the obvious cost pressure in the industrial sector and how this can be effectively counteracted by using professional costing software.

The 4cost software solutions for the creation of valid cost estimates and consistent cost calculations from the early phase onwards are now in use in the Vehicle Systems Division, Business Unit Tactical Vehicles, of Rheinmetall AG. The Value Engineering department uses the 4cost software, for cost analyses and evaluations. Thanks to the close cooperation between 4cost GmbH and the digiZ | Digitalisierungszentrum Ostwürttemberg, companies in East Württemberg will now benefit and also have the opportunity to experience the advantages of parametric cost calculation. The 4cost GmbH, provider of innovative software and consulting solutions for cost calculations, and the management consultancy StraCoTec GmbH & Co. KG, which specializes in product, process and cost optimization, have agreed a strategic partnership. The new cooperation of the two companies combines their many years of expert knowledge. All existing and new customers can now receive a broader range of services.

The companies 4cost and Liebherr are expanding their cooperation through a comprehensive agreement. The partnership between 4cost GmbH and individual business divisions of Liebherr companies has been existing since 2006. With the beginning of this year, the cooperation will be extended by a floating license model for the entire Liebherr holding. Both partners have on a long-term basis of trust which made it possible to develop and reach this solution.
